Hunter, who is 6-foot-6, is a dynamite long range shooter as well as a smart player who is known for his high IQ and feel for the game.
Hunter's father, Ron Hunter, made the move from IUPUI to Georgia State this off-season, and with that his son decided to join him giving his dad a verbal commitment.
"I love the coaching staff and the city of Atlanta," said Hunter on why he chose Georgia State. "Atlanta is a great city if you are winning, and we plan on winning, so I am really looking forward to it."
One interesting thing will be is that Hunter will now play for his father. Despite sharing the same roof as his dad, never once has his dad coached the son.
"No, he has never coached me one second," said Hunter of playing for his father. "It is going to be awkward at first but I think it will be good."
Hunter is a three-star wing and will rank as one of the top incoming players in the CAA.
