Anderson makes switch

Justin Anderson makes the switch from one ACC school to another.

The recruitment of Justin Anderson had been interesting for the past week as it seemed like he was destined to become a Virginia Cavalier, but no official word came from his camp.

Finally on Thursday morning Rockville (MD) Montrose Christian released a statement confirmed that Anderson is now committed to Virginia.

"The Cavaliers were always my second choice behind Maryland," said Anderson in the statement. "After the departure of Coach [Gary] Williams and Coach [Robert] Ehsan it just feels like the right fit."

The commitment is a big one for Virginia. Anderson now joins fellow four-star prospects Evan Nolte and Mike Tobey in a very impressive class. Recommended Stories
