The recruitment of Justin Anderson had been interesting for the past week as it seemed like he was destined to become a Virginia Cavalier, but no official word came from his camp.
Finally on Thursday morning Rockville (MD) Montrose Christian released a statement confirmed that Anderson is now committed to Virginia.
"The Cavaliers were always my second choice behind Maryland," said Anderson in the statement. "After the departure of Coach [Gary] Williams and Coach [Robert] Ehsan it just feels like the right fit."
The commitment is a big one for Virginia. Anderson now joins fellow four-star prospects Evan Nolte and Mike Tobey in a very impressive class.
