Randolph hearing from Pac-10
One of the more intriguing 2013 point guards on the West Coast is 6-foot-1, 190-pound Eureka (Calif.) St. Bernard's Brandon Randolph. The score-first point guard can fill up the scoreboard from beyond the arc while also showing an impressive ability to get to the hoop. Right now, Randolph says that his focus is becoming more of a pure point. "I'm working on my point guard skills," Randolph said. "Mostly passing the ball and getting other people involved." On top of working on his point guard skills, Randolph is also improving as a defender. "I increased my defense; my defense has gotten a lot better," he said. "At times, I've kind of let up defensively but I've worked on it over the past year and I got better at that." Randolph has received letters from Washington State, UCLA, USC and Stanford and says he likes a few schools that he hasn't heard from. "I grew up rooting for Duke, North Carolina and schools like that," Randolph said. "I also like Arizona. I've seen a lot of good guards who come through the school. I can see myself playing there." The young guard isn't in a rush to get through his recruiting process. "I'm going to take my time and see how everything goes," he said.
