Seton Hall scores late big man

Brandon Mobley

Seton Hall adds to their 2011 recruiting class. They picked up 6-foot-9 big man Brandon Mobley.

Seton Hall secured a 6-foot-9 big man on Wednesday.

Brandon Mobley, of Delafield (Wisc.) St. John Northwestern, gave Kevin Willard and his staff a verbal commitment. He confirmed the news to Scout.com.

"I was stressing about it so I called my mom and aunt and pastor and prayed about it," he said. "At the end of the day, they said go with your heart so I did."

Mobley picked Seton Hall over strong interest from Auburn, DePaul and Providence. When asked about picking Seton Hall, he cited their conference affiliation.

"The small class sizes and student to teacher contact is very important to me and the style of play the play and being in the Big East."

Mobley is their fifth verbal commitment. He joins Sean Grennan, Freddie Wilson, Haralds Karlis and Aaron Cosby to make up their five-man recruiting class.
