Yet another big man in the 2011 class is off the board.
Braeden Anderson, a 6-foot-8 power forward, gave a verbal pledge to Bill Self and Kansas Sunday afternoon. The three-star prospect confirmed the news with Scout.com.
"It's true," he said when asked about his decision. "It just felt right. I had to go with my gut."
What was Bill Self's reaction when he received the call?
"He sounded fired up," Anderson said. "He said it was the best news he'd gotten this week. It was a surprise. Coach Dooley let me call and tell him."
Anderson is the Jayhawks third commitment in the 2011 class. He joins top 50 recruit Ben McLemore and four-star prospect Naadir Tharpe to make up their recruiting class.
