Cameron Ridley, a 2012 center prospect, made his college decision. The No. 4 player in the country will take his game to the Big 12.

Top five junior Cameron Ridley decided to make an early decision.

The five-star prospect out of Richmond (Tex.) George Bush opted to stay local and play for Rick Barnes and the Texas Longhorn.

Ridley, a 6-foot-9, possibly 6-foot-10, 255-pound center, made his decision early Friday morning. Houston Hoopstars coach Keith White confirmed the news to Scout.com.

"Cameron has committed to Texas," White told Scout.com.

Over the summer Ridley emerged as a national prospect and received interest from coast-to-coast. Among the heavily involved schools were Baylor, Kansas, North Carolina, Oklahoma and Texas A&M.

Ridley is ranked the No. 4 prospect in the nation and the No. 3 center in the 2012 class.
