Nick Jacobs made his pick and he'll take his game to the SEC.

During a press conference at his school Nick Jacobs, of Atlanta (Ga.) South, made his college choice.

Jacobs announced he would play for Anthony Grant at Alabama, picking the Crimson Tide over strong interest from Clemson, Georgia and a host of other high major programs.

The 6-foot-8, 245-pound power forward went to the same school as top 5 draft pick Derrick Favors. He also played for the Atlanta Celtics on the summer circuit, the same team Favors fan with.

Jacobs marks Alabama's fourth verbal commitment in the 2011 class. He joins five-star prospect Levi Randolph, as well as Rodney Cooper and Moussa Gueye to make up their four-man group.

Jacobs is currently ranked No. 20 at the power forward spot in the class of 2011.
