On Saturday, while on campus for an unofficial visit, the early interest in the 2012 prospect paid off, as Bolden gave Haith and Miami a verbal commitment.
What sold Bolden? It was the freedom Haith gives his players.
"I went down there and watched their practice and their guards are pretty much free and they can do what they want," Bolden told Scout.com. "He lets them shoot."
"Its been real nice," he said of his unofficial visit. "The campus is beautiful. Everything is great."
"I have some family down here too," Bolden added. "I just wanted to be close to my family."
Bolden, who is known for his ability to shoot the basketball, is Miami's second 2012 commitment. He joins three-star big man Ishmael Douda to make up their current 2012 class.
