LeBryan Nash’s much anticipated announcement was made Thursday afternoon.
A five-star prospect, Nash made his decision to play for Travis Ford at Oklahoma State public during a nationally televised show.
"Travis Ford has been recruiting me for so long, so long," Nash told ESPN. "Since he came there he's been on me. Butch Pierre is a great assistant coach and every time I see him, I see the enthusiasm."
"I think I fit in their system and I think I'll have the ball in my hands most of the time," he added. "Academics the tutor is so good up there. I just love it and I think I fit up there."
Nash, a 6-foot-6, 220-pound small forward out of Dallas (Tex.) Lincoln, is ranked No. 3 on the small forward list and No. 11 overall in the class of 2011.
Nash, who also considered Baylor and Kansas, is Oklahoma State’s first 2011 verbal commitment.
