The former Major League Baseball All-Star and Cincinnati Red produced a son -- Shane Larkin -- that turned into quite a basketball player. Early Wednesday morning the 5-foot-11 senior guard made his college choice.
Florida Assault coach Diane Neal confirmed that Larkin committed to DePaul.
"Shane like the school, coaches and players and they recruiting him the longest and hardest, she said. "He also liked his visit the most of them all."
A three-star prospect our of Orlando (Fla.) Dr. Philips, Larkin is currently rated as the No. 20 lead guard.
