Louisville picked up their fourth verbal commitment for the 2011 recruiting class on Thursday.
Angel Nunez, of Fitchburg (Mass.) Notre Dame Prep, gave Rick Pitino and his program a verbal pledge. He confirmed the news to Scout.com.
"I decided to go with Louisville because they were the school that was with me from the beginning," Nunez said. "They were with me throughout the whole process when I was hot and when I was down."
West Virginia, Providence and Miami were also under consideration.
"I thought Louisville was the best fit for me," he said. "Coach Pitino is a great coach and he's gotten guys to the league and he's a guy that will push me to work hard every time I'm out on the floor."
"I've been talking to coach Masiello for a while," he added. "I've gotten a chance to speak to Coach P and actually watch him and I've seen him at my games numerous times."
Nunez joins five-star commitment Wayne Blackshear and four-star prospects Chane Behanan and Zach Price.
